METHI POORI

Methi Poori is a good variant of poori, for those who want to have some health with oily food.

Ingredients:
Wheat flour-1 cup
Maida –1cup
Fenugreek leaves-1 bunch medium sized
Garam masala-1 table spoon
Green chillies-8-10
Salt to taste
Oil for deep frying

Method:

  1. Cut fenugreek finely
  2. take 2 table spoons of oil and fry the fenugreek leaves in a pan, for 5 minutes
  3. Allow to cool
  4. Mix green chillipaste, salt, garam masala
  5. Using water mix tight dough
  6. Allow to set for 1/2 an hr
  7. Knead out into small poori’s using rice flour to knead and
  8. deep fry in hot oil
  9. serve hot.

You can use red chili powder instead of green chillies.
