Ingredients
- Palakura (Spinach) – 1 Big Bowl – (wash and cut into pieces)
- Menthi Kura ( fenugreeek leaves) – 3/4 th Big Bowl ( Cleaned without stems and washed )
- Kothimeera (coriander leaves) – 1/2 Big Bowl
- Coconut scraped – 1/4 small cup
- Groundnut – 1/4 small cup (fry without oil and powdered)
- Onion – 1 No (Cut into small Pieces)
- Garlic – 15 peels (cut the peels into small pieces)
- Cumin seeds (jeelakarra) – 1/4 Spoon
- Mustard – 1/4 Spoon
- Salt – to taste
- Oil – 6 Spoons
- Green Chilli – 3 Nos (cut into small pieces)
- Turmeric Powder – 2 Pinches
Method of preparation
- Heat the oil in deep pan and add cumin and mustard
- Add the Green Chillis and the garlic pieces and heat for about 2-3 min
- Add the Onion and fry till it is brown
- Now add the Coriander leaves
- Now add the Spinach and the Fenugreek leaves
- After all the leaves are fried add coconut powder, salt and turmeric powder and keep in simmer and fry thouroughly.
- Add the Groundnut powder and mix thouroughly
- if you like add some lemon juice
This is good with Rice and also goes with Chapatis
